Lettings Manager

We are currently looking for a Lettings Negotiator to join the team to manage the department and expand our growing portfolio. The ideal candidate should be experienced within a Lettings Negotiator role working in a well known Real Estate agency and has the ambition to join a fast growing start-up and build this department from the bottom up.


  • Increasing growth of lettings business
  • Establishing strong relationships with Landlords and new applicants
  • Negotiating the let of residential property for both short & long let
  • Advertising the properties and qualifying applicants
  • Arranging and attending viewings
  • Negotiating tenancy agreements
  • Managing and overseeing the allocated property portfolio
  • Ensure all rent is collected on time in collaboration with Finance department
  • Handling Complaints and emergencies dealing with maintenance requests, noise complaints and have the necessary contacts to handle emergency situations
  • Handling the move-outs inspecting the property, checking for damages and determining what portion of the security deposit will be returned to the tenant
  • Updating and maintaining Property Management Software
  • Manage the property portfolio of long lettings for City Relay and Leufroy clients
  • Liaise with Landlords and Tenants of our property portfolio
  • Manage all potential tenant enquiries and phone calls and arrange viewings
  • Make use of our CRM to track tenant data to support on the internal reporting process
  • Obtain offers from tenants and liaise with landlords, negotiate the offer to get the client the best possible deal
  • Process tenancies from enquiry to move in and manage tenant journey
  • Support in arranging maintenance works and liaising with tenants
  • Assist with creating property adverts on property portals
  • Assist with compliance across all tenancies
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities

Qualifications and experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in residential lettings
  • Preferably be ARLA Qualified (or interested in taking the exams)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced negotiation abilities
