Increasing the yield and removing the hassle of managing Gary’s property portfolio

The challenge

Gary has a portfolio of six properties across West London. He had heard about the potential high yield that short let can generate and he was keen to give it a try. However, as a very busy man, the amount of work required to ensure that the cleaning was carried out efficiently and that the check-ins took place on time was a concern to him. In 2015, he reached out to City Relay as he was looking for a local solution in order to remove the hassle out of short letting his properties. 

The process

We first started working with Gary in 2015. The first steps were a meeting at his property to discuss exactly what he was looking to achieve from short letting across his portfolio. We understood Gary’s objectives and quickly arranged a professional photoshoot of the properties and listed them across 30+ booking platforms to maximise visibility. Our reservations platform is a particularly valuable tool for Gary as he has full access to each properties calendar where he can monitor the bookings that are generated whilst sitting back and watching the revenue roll in!

He quickly developed a close relationship with City Relay and the numbers spoke for themselves! He finally had the answer that he was searching for and was able to maximise his properties yield without even lifting a finger!
