How Gary increased his portfolio’s yield
The challenge
Gary has a portfolio of six properties across West London but due to his busy schedule, he couldn’t commit to the amount of work required to manage his properties himself.
He had heard about the high yield that our flexible letting model can generate and he was keen to give it a try. He reached out to City Relay as he was looking for a local solution to letting his properties.
The process
We first started working with Gary in 2015. The first steps were a meeting at one of his properties to discuss exactly what he was looking to achieve from letting his portfolio of properties. We understood Gary’s objectives and quickly arranged a professional photoshoot of the properties and listed them across 30+ booking platforms to maximise visibility. DRIVE, our reservations platform, is a particularly valuable tool for Gary as he has full access to each property’s calendar, so he can monitor the bookings that are generated.
He quickly developed a close relationship with City Relay and the numbers spoke for themselves. He finally had the answer that he was searching for and was able to maximise his properties’ yield without lifting a finger.
