City Relay helps with Earl’s Court Big Clean-Up

Written by Pathik Vashi

A team of volunteers from City Relay joined residents of Earl’s Court on a chilly Saturday morning last week to help them collect litter. With the amount of rubbish on our streets increasing, the second Earl’s Court Big Clean-Up was organised by a group of local residents wanting to tackle the problem head-on.

The City Relay team donned their hoodies and high-vis vests and took to the streets of Earl’s Court starting at the Health Centre on Hogarth Road. There were over 30 bags worth of rubbish collected and disposed of in total.

As a local business and employer with a
Reception Space on Kenway Road, we were keen to play our part on the day. We take great pride in our community and the environment. City Relay is committed to becoming a sustainable business, and we have undertaken several initiatives to become more environmentally-friendly. Plans are well underway to expand our fleet of electric vehicles, transition fully to eco-friendly cleaning products and provide environmentally-friendly guest services.
