Doing the check-in in person allows you to be closer to your guests, you will learn more about them and create a warm atmosphere for their stay. In the end, it’s more personal. In addition, you will be able to explain all the rules of the property to your guests, and provide explanations on how to use the TV, the DVD player, heater etc…
Make contact
As mentioned previously, doing the check-in will allow you to create personal contact with the guests. Creating a positive contact with them will help you with your guest experience rating, plus, your guests will be more likely to come back to your property! It’s a win-win situation! 😉
More security
Meeting your guests in person for the check-in will give you more security: first of all, you will see who is coming to your property and can profile them. In addition, having a person hand over the keys is much safer than leaving the keys at the property!
